How it works

A quiet system,
always paying attention.

SeniorConnex pairs a contactless wireless sensor with an optional wearable EKG band, a glanceable mobile app, and instant SMS escalation. Nothing for them to learn. Nothing for you to babysit. Just continuous coverage, end to end.

The ecosystem

Four pieces. One promise: continuous, dignified care.

Each component does one thing well and stays out of the way the rest of the time. Together they form a calm baseline of "everything's fine," with instant escalation the moment it isn't.

Wireless sensor

Contactless mmWave radar. Tracks vitals through clothes, blankets, and walls.

EKG band

Optional medical-grade wearable for residents who need cardiac-level tracking.

Mobile app

A glanceable view of vitals and presence — calm, plain-language, no jargon.

SMS alerts

The right person, on their phone, in seconds — no app to install, no pager to carry.

A senior at home, monitored quietly by an unobtrusive sensor.

01 · The wireless sensor

Continuous biometrics, without anything on the body.

micro A small mmWave radar mounts on the wall or ceiling. It detects the senior's heartbeat and location in the room. No microphone. No camera. The resident forgets it's there.

  • Works through clothing, sheets, and walls — even in the dark
  • Paired with the watch, it detects heart rate, respiration, presence, and falls
  • No cameras and no audio — privacy preserved by design
  • One sensor covers a bedroom; multi-sensor arrays cover larger spaces

02 · The wearable EKG band

For residents who need cardiac-level detail.

When the situation calls for clinical-grade cardiac tracking — post-cardiac event, atrial fibrillation, or a recent change in medication — SeniorConnex offers an optional EKG band. It's lightweight, water-resistant, and pairs automatically with the in-room sensor.

Single-lead EKG

Continuous rhythm tracking with clinical-grade waveforms streamed to the dashboard.

7-day battery

Charges on a magnetic dock once a week. No daily charging cadence, no compliance nag.

Pairs automatically

Snaps onto the wrist, syncs to the in-room sensor, and disappears into the background.

A family member checking on a parent through the SeniorConnex app.

03 · The mobile app

Calm by default. Loud only when it matters.

Open the app and the first thing you see is reassurance. Heart rate, respiration, location are displayed in a simple, easy-to-understand format. If something needs attention, the app clearly indicates it and sends an SMS alert to family and caregivers.

  • One-screen overview — vitals, presence, trend
  • Per-family permissions, set by the facility or the primary caregiver
  • Available on iOS, Android and the web

04 · Automated alerts

Fall and emergency detection — escalated in seconds.

When something changes, SeniorConnex doesn't make you read a chart to find out. The system identifies falls and cardiac events at the moment they happen and routes SMS escalation in seconds — to on-shift staff first, and to family on your policy.

Detect

Radar and EKG signals are continuously evaluated against each resident's personal baseline — not a generic population average.

Classify

The system distinguishes a fall from a sit-down, a cardiac event from caffeine, an unusual stillness from a nap. Fewer false alarms means real alarms get taken seriously.

Escalate

SMS goes to the on-shift care team first. Family is notified per the policy you set. Two-way acknowledgment makes sure the message landed with the person who can act.

Document

Every alert, acknowledgment, and resolution is logged — encrypted, time-stamped, and ready for the care-plan review or the family conversation that follows.

Built right

HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. State-of-the-art reliability.

SeniorConnex is built on the kind of backend you'd expect from a system protecting real patients today — because it already is.

AES-256 end-to-end

Every byte from sensor to dashboard is encrypted with HIPAA-compliant AES-256. Audit logs included.

No cameras. No audio.

mmWave radar captures motion, not images. Dignity preserved by physics, not by policy.

In production today

Live deployments protecting real patients right now — on infrastructure designed for clinical-grade uptime.
